Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal - Tamil Movie Review

Ethir Neechal, Soodhu Kavvum and Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal movies simultaneously released on Wednesday (May 1). The first two movies have garnered positive reviews and have done good business too on the opening day. Whereas, Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal was not a hyped flick, but the film boosted a well-known director and

cast. Well, has the film lived up to audience expectations? Has the month begin with a hat-trick? Continue reading below to know it...
Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal is a romantic film directed by Vasanth. It is a comeback film for the director after a gap of six years. It has to be noted that Vasanth's movies have often generated curiosity for content and characterisation. Even his last film, which did not keep the cash register ringing, was praised for the same. Now, he has roped in Arjun Sarja, Cheran, Vimal, Muktha Bhanu, Surveen Chawla and Lasini to play the lead roles in Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal. What the film has to offer? Will it give a good break to the director? Let's see the review...
The title (Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal) of the film tells it all. The movie revolves around three couples. The three couples are: Varun (Vimal) and Lasini (Anjana), Guna (Cheran) and Mallika (Muktha Bhanu), and Harris (Arjun) and Divya (Surveen Chawla). The locations of each of their love stories vary from the Hills, the Seas and the Plain lands. The film covers three landscapes Kurinji (mountain), Marudham (agriculture fields) and Neidhal (area surrounding the sea). What is that one thing that brings all of them together is the interesting part of the story.
Once again, Vasanth excels in creating characters. Of all, Arjun Sarja walks out with a wonderful role. The actor's chemistry with Surveen Chawla works big time. Cheran and Muktha Banu's roles are good. But Vimal struggles in the role of Varun. His expressions and body language does not compliment each other. He has failed to impress audience in an urban character. Even his co-star Lasini is a big disappointment.
